Teaching philosophy

Every learner has the right to meaningful learning.

Whatever their learning needs, students deserve a curriculum they can access. I design for that from the start, in three ways.

  1. Engagement

I learn what my students care about and present content in ways that feel relevant to them.

  2. Access

I plan around each student's language profile and strengths, and I present ideas through more than one mode.

  3. Agency

Students choose how to show what they know. The goal is joy and confidence in lifelong learning.
